I See Your Heart
I see your heart, bruised and battered
From life, people, and dreams that were shattered
I see your heart, with cuts and scars
From the knives of disappointment and discouragement
I see your heart encased in hurt
With the sight of grief and misery so overt
I see your heart locked tightly down
With the overwhelming feeling of despair keeping it captive
Your heart does not have to stay in this diseased state,
For there is hope for your heart if you place it in My Hands
I won't harm it or let it fall to the ground
I will pour My Love in but you must allow
It will heal the wounds from the shadows of your past
Turn them into a testimony for your future, with joy so vast
This will empower you to pull others out of the same pit
And into the light, their lives they will commit
I see your heart, it is now in My Hands
You have let go of the key, I have it in My grasp
I see your heart being healed and made whole
All your pain is being turned to strength, at last
Just know you can trust me with more than your heart
Give Me your mind, will, emotions, GIVE ME YOUR LIFE
Give Me all of you and with My peace, you, I will guard

Wow Erica I didn't know you were so talented! I really enjoyed that, I can see young people who are lost and don't know what to do reading this and changing their lives. Deep. Really deep.
